Description :

Russian architect Alexander Brodsky has designed a private house for several generations of a large family, directly depicting the old idiom of ‘living under one roof’. The complex constellation of spaces surrounding a central living room sits under a massive, yet light PVC roof. The house, located near Tarusa, Russia, is set into a large field owned by the clients. The façades were hand-painted to achieve a random coloration effect. The rooms’ decoration was largely left to the settlers’ will.
